Ken Hill's Invisible Man at Menier Chocolate Factory over Xmas

Ken Hill’s The Invisible Man will be playing at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 12th November-13th February 2011.

H G Wells’s classic tale is retold in a comedy music hall spectacular, packed with magical entertainment and illusions. 

The story is set in the rustic village of Iping where local inhabitants recount the mysterious happenings of the week when the very sinister and unsociable Griffin arrived wrapped in bandages.

It features an all star cast including Maria Friedman - Stephen Sondheim Prom, Anna in The King and I, Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd , The Woman in White in the West End and on Broadway, Ragtime, Chicago, Passion and Maria Friedman Re-Arranged: John Gordon Sinclair - Gregory in Gregory’s Girl, Absurd Person Singular, She Loves Me and The Producers: Gary Wilmot - The Wizard of Oz,  Oliver, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Me and My Girl: Natalie Casey - Donna in the BBC’s Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Oklahoma! and Hobson’s Choice.

Also in the cast are  Christopher Godwin  Teddy Kempner, Jo Stone-Fewings, Gary Wilmot, Michael Beckley, Gerard Carey and Geraldine Fitzgerald.


The story combines tongue-in-cheek humour with jaw-dropping special effects and ingenious illusions by Paul Kieve. Suitable for ages 8+
