Shirley Bassey and Tony Christie to sing at Beatles tribute concert

Dame Shirley Bassey will be the headlining act at The Beatles' 50th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday 28th October. The event is supporting the Noah's Ark Appeal and the Malta Community Chest Fund.

Dame Shirley will be joined by Tony Christie (currently appearing in Dreamcoats & Petticoats), Beverley Knight, Darius Campbell, the 70-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a 100 member-strong choir at the tribute celebrating the Beatles’ songs which have been given a classical twist.

Beatles aficionado Mike Read  will be presenting the tribute, taking the audience through The Beatles' legendary history.

Further highlights will include performances by Candy Rock, Maria Elena Infantino, Lynn Faure Chircop, Elliott Frisby, James Andrew Arthur, Sherry Davis, The Scarletz, William Owen, Analiza Ching, Maria Abela Manconi, Susan Black and Tony Moore.
