Jodie Prenger visits Dogs for the Disabled for Children in Need

Jodie Prenger is taking a break from playing the Lady of the Lake in the tour of Spamalot (she rejoins it over Christmas playing at the Alexandra Birmingham from 6th December-1st January), and is currently appearing as John Barrowman’s special guest on his concert tour which ends on 2nd November.

But she managed to take some time out to visit the  charity Dogs for the Disabled National Training Centre in Banbury Oxfordshire.

She heard about their  work through BBC's Children in Need. They offer children with disabilities the chance to have a dog as a best friend and helper and receive much needed  support from Children in Need to help it continue its vital work.

Jodie’s  first stop was to meet Pudsey who is a four month old yellow Labrador sponsored by Children in Need.

The live show this year will be hosted by Terry Wogan as usual and will be broadcast live on BBC TB on Friday 19th November
