Laurence Olivier Awards at Drury Lane next March

Next year's Laurence Olivier Awards are to be held on 13th March at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. They will be covered by the BBC on their television, radio and online news services.

The awards have been previously held at the Grosvenor House and Hilton Hotels on Park Lane, but this year they are returning to a theatre to enable them to stage some specially created theatrical entertainment backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Nominations for the Oliviers will be announced in early February, with the Radio 2 Audience Award for the Most Popular Show open to public voting. Those in the running for an award will be invited to a lunch at the Haymarket Hotel on 22nd February
