Gary Wilmot to Star in Radio Times at Watermill

Comedian and musical theatre star Gary Wilmot is appearing in Radio Times at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury from August 4th - September 24th.

The book for Radio Times is by Abi Grant and songs are by Noel Gay. The musical is about the members of a BBC light entertainment show who are struggling with a limited cast and no star as their show is being broadcast for the first time to live America. Numbers include "There's Something About A Soldier", "Run, Rabbit, Run", "Who's Been Polishing The Sun?" and "Hey Little Hen".

Wilmot's stage credits include the West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bang and Me and My Girl and The Invisible Man at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The production will be directed by Caroline Leslie, with musical supervision and arrangements by Paul Herbert and choreography by Alistair David.
