Glenn Carter and Robyn North star in musical Floyd Collins

Glenn Carter (Jersey Boys, Jesus Christ Superstar, Alfie, Chess, Les Miserables, Joseph and Whistle Down the Wind) and Robyn North (Phantom, Master Class, My Fair Lady, Rebels And Retail and Thoroughly Modern Millie) will lead the cast of the musical Floyd Collins at the Southwark Playhouse from 22nd February-31st March. 

This is the first London revival of the award-winning Tina Landau and Adam Guettel  musical in over ten years.The cast will also include Ryan Sampson (The Kitchen Sink and Dido Queen Of Carthage), Jane Webster (The Phantom Of The Opera and The Sound Of Music), Vlach Ashton, Kit Benjamin and Dayle Hodge.

Floyd Collins is set in Kentucky in 1925 and is based on true events telling the story of one of the greatest cavers ever to have lived who dreamt of finding fame and fortune. When an expedition left him trapped 55 feet underground the story became a national sensation. The musical examines the media circus' reaction to Floyd's tragedy, his family's suffering and the various rescue attempts that took place.
Floyd Collins is directed by Derek Bond with musical direction by Tim Jackson and choreography by Richard Jones.
