Natasha J Barnes is the actress who famously stepped into the breach when Funny Girl's Sheridan Smith was forced to take a two month leave of absence.
She received rave reviews for her performance and from the producer Michael Harrison and choreographer Andrew Wright seeing her in the show she has now been cast to play Cinderella in the Palladium panto. Also joining the cast are Wendy Somerville (the Threepenny Opera) and Suzie Chard (Soho Cinders) as the Ugly Stepsisters.
Harrison told the Daily Mail:"Natasha will be feisty and funny, and she's got that extra twinkle. When you're on stage with O'Grady and
Clary, you've got to hold your own."
