Kerry Ellis is to present her own radio show on the recently launched musical theatre station Encore Radio. She will present a weekly three hour show every Saturday between 10:00 am and 1:00pm, where she will be playing her favourite musical songs plus tracks from her influences including Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Celine Dione and Michael Ball.
Ellis' work on Broadway and the West End includes Elphaba in Wicked, Nancy in Oliver!, originating the role of Meat in We Will Rock You and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
She is currently starring in new musical Murder Ballad at the Arts Theatre in London.
Other presenters on Encore radio include Duncan James from pop band Blue and ex-Classic FM DJ Jamie Crick.
