A new tour of the The Sound of Musicals has just been announced with show-stopping numbers from musicals including Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard, Chess, Oliver!, Les Misérables, Jersey Boys, Evita, My Fair Lady and Chicago. They will be performed four star soloists from the West End: Samantha Barks (Les Misérables), Tim Howar (Tonight’s the Night; Rock of Ages; and vocalist with Mike and The Mechanics), Oliver Tompsett (Wicked; Guys and Dolls) and Hannah Waddingham (Kiss Me Kate; A Little Night Music, Grease) accompanied by a live London Concert Orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe or Manchester Concert Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall.
