Sheridan Smith to star in film Tower Block

Ex-Legally Blonde star and West End diva Sheridan Smith is one busy lady these days.  She has just finished appearing in Flare Path at the Haymarket Theatre and is now due to star in a gritty new film called Tower Block.

James Moran (Severance and Torchwood) has written the script for the film which is about the repercussions facing residents of Tower Block 31 after they witness the murder of a young teenager. Shooting starts July 18th on location around East London.

Sheridan will be joined in the cast by Skins and Eden Lake actor Jack O’Connell, Russell Tovey (History Boys) and Ralph Brown (Mean Machine).
