The Phantom Phenomenon on BBC Radio 2 Tomorrow

With the release today of the Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall DVD the celebrations continue tomorrow on BBC Radio 2 at 22:00 in The Phantom Phenomenon when Don Black talks to composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyricist Charles Hart, producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh and the choreographer Gillian Lynne.

He asks why this long-established musical continues to break records: to date it has been seen by 130 million people in 145 cities in 27 countries around the world. And it has taken an estimated $5.6 billion worldwide.  This is more than any film or stage play in history, including Avatar, Titanic, ET and Star Wars.

To mark the anniversary there was a special performance at London's Royal Albert Hall which was streamed live via satellite to cinemas across the globe. A few highlights from this performance will feature.
