Mark Owen from Take That writes finale song for Rise and Fall of Little Voice

Producers of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice currently previewing at the Vaudeville have revealed that a new finale song has been written by Take That singer Mark Owen.

The number called Sunlight is performed by former X-Factor finalist Diana Vickers who plays the lead of LV in the show.

The creator of the show, Jim Cartwright, said: “It had always been my intention to write an original song for the end of my play, when Little Voice finally sings in her own voice. However, when we first premiered it at the National Theatre in 1992 we ran out of time and a Judy Garland song was used. When I first heard Diana singing Sunlight, I was just thrilled. It was exactly what I wanted.”
