Get into London Theatre Campaign

The ninth annual Get into London Theatre (GILT) campaign will commence in January.  It will offer six weeks of cheap ticket deals and activities to a range of musicals, plays, opera and dance.

The annual event runs from 1st January to 12th February 2010 and was created in 2001 by the then London Mayor Ken Livingstone in response to the dwindling number of theatregoers following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The scheme is organised by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and booking opens on 8th December 2009, with tickets available at £10, £15, £25 and £35 for a range of top shows. New for 2010 audiences will also be given the opportunity to join acting, singing and dance workshops led by West End professionals.
There are also a number of events throughout the month of January which give you the opportunity to look inside the world of London theatre.

A full list of participating shows will be available soon so keep checking the website www.getintolondontheatre.co.uk for the latest details.
