Lloyd Webber announces Dorothy auditions for Over the Rainbow

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has begun his search for an actress to play Dorothy in a new West End production of The Wizard Of Oz.

He will again use a televised talent show to find the leading lady following on from  the success of his previous shows How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything.

The new Over The Rainbow talent show will be on BBC1 in 2010 with Graham Norton again hosting.
Applications are invited for females interested in taking part to apply for auditions in January which will take place in Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London.
