Ray Davies Writing Kinks Musical

Ray Davies has confirmed he is writing a musical on the The Kinks which is the rock group he with his brother Dave in 1964.  His story will follow the band from its beginnings to international success.

Ray Davies is looking at various casting options and is currently looking into the popular idea of creating a televised talent hunt to find suitable performers.

Last year Davies confirmed that the band had started work on new material and said a reunion was not out of the question if the material was of the right standard.
