West End diva Clare Burt is reprising her cabaret show at London's Pizza on the Park on 15th February for one night only. This concert is prior to making her New York cabaret debut at Chelsea's Metropolitan Room from March 9th-13th.
Miss Burt was last seen at the National Theatre in Coram Boy and The Miracle. Her West End pedigree is excellent with musical roles including the original London productions of Howard Goodall's The Hired Man and Girlfriends, the UK premiere production of Sunday in the Park with George and Susan in Sam Mendes' revival of Company, Carla in Nine and the Witch in Into the Woods. She has also appeared as Grizabella in Cats and as Rose in Aspects of Love.
Her cabaret show will include songs by Stephen Sondheim, Michel Legrand, Harold Arlen, Jerry Herman, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Jules Styne, Scott Frankel and Michael Korie, Amanda McBroom, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Kurt Weill and Adam Guettel.
