Dirty Dancing Valentine’s Charity Gala

After raising over £40,000 last year for disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people in London, the West End musical Dirty Dancing will present its fourth Valentine’s Day Charity Gala on Saturday 13th February at 19:30 (there is no performance on Sunday).

Money is being raised in aid of radio station Magic 105.4’s Cash for Kids.  This is London’s “more music, less talk” station attracting over 2 million listeners every week. Cash for Kids is a charity which supports children under the age of 18 who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged within the Magic 105.4 region. The radio station’s breakfast presenter Neil Fox and drive time presenter Angie Greaves will be hosting the event at the Aldwych Theatre.

Money raised from this performance will enable Cash for Kids to launch a “Time of Your Life Dance Academy” for local schools and youth groups, highlighting the positive physical and emotional benefits of dance.

On the night each audience member will receive an exclusive Dirty Dancing Gift bag and one member of the audience will win a holiday for two to the original Dirty Dancing movie location in North Carolina.
