Hal Prince & Susan Stroman to direct “Paradise Found”


The musical "Paradise Found," which is being co-directed by Broadway legends Hal Prince and Susan Stroman, is due to preview at London's Menier Chocolate Factory in the spring before transferring to Broadway.

The Producers of the show ( John Cullum, Mandy Patinkin (pictured), Shuler Hensley, Judy Kaye and Emily Skinner)  are all expected to take lead roles.

Prince expects to go into rehearsal on April 12th for Paradise Found.   It is then planned to at the Chocolate Factory for just seven weeks.

"Paradise Found" is based on the novel, "The Tale of the 1002nd Night," which tells the story of an impotent Shah (Cullum) with 139 wives. The ruler's eunuch (Patinkin) convinces him to travel to Vienna, where the Shah falls in love with the empress of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Still no booking news on the Menier Chocolate Factory’s website so watch this space …
