Neil Sedaka’s Laughter in the Rain hopes to come to London

Laughter in the Rain is a  new musical based on the songs of Neil Sedaka which starts touring at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on 1st March.  When the tour finishes at the beginning of July it is anticipated that it will  be moving into the West End.

Bill Kenwright is the producer in charge of the tour and describes  Laughter in the Rain as a "brand new show based on the rise, fall and rise again of pop music’s ultimate survivor... Neil Sedaka".  It features most of Sedaka’s most popular hits (of which there are plenty) including "Oh, Carol", "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do", "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", "Solitaire", "Calendar Girl", "Amarillo" and "Laughter in the Rain".

Have seen this show three times now and it just gets better and better - a great story, brilliantly told by a talented cast & band! Each time we've seen it it always has everyone up, singing and dancing in the aisles! I really do not think this show has been advertised enough, so little publicity, it needs this to get the audiences it deserves.

I think it's a great show too. Shame the tour is due to end in a couple of weeks.

We have seen this show twice, once in Bristol and once in Cardiff. It is one of the best shows I have ever seen. The music and cast are absolutely fabulous. The stage settings and storyline are very well done and I learnt a lot about Neil that I didn't know.We were all up dancing and singing at both shows and can,t wait to see it again!!!

I've seen the show a couple of times as well and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would be good if it gets revived this year.
