A musical adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Booker Prize-winning novel The Remains of the Day will premiere from August 31st to September 25th at the Union Theatre in Southwark.
The novel has already been adapted for a film starring Anthony Hopkins and a BBC radio play with Ian McDiarmid, but this production this will mark its stage debut.
The musical will have 9 in the cast with 4 musicians. It includes 17 musical numbers and is being produced by Simon James Collier in association with Fallen Angel Theatre Company and Poppy Ben-David.
