Niki Evans first played the role in the Willy Russell musical in 2008 until Melanie C took over for a limited season in October last year . At the moment Niki is scheduled to appear until 21st August 2010.
The current cast also features: Craig Price, Stephen Palfreman, Richard Reynard, Louise Davidson, Louise Clayton, Stephen Pallister, Michael Southern, Rob Hughes, Alastair Brookshaw, Amy O’Neill, Alex Harland, Anna Sambrooks and Karl Greenwood.
