Denise Van Outen at Wicked for Lee Mead’s press night

Denise Van Outen and husband Lee Mead are enjoying the arrival of their baby daughter Betsy born earlier this month, but last night the very trim Denise played the supporting role as Lee opened in the musical Wicked at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre. He plays the part of Fiyero who is a handsome prince initially attracted to the good witch Glinda (played by Louise Dearman) but ends up having a relationship with the Wicked Green Witch Elphaba (Rachel Tucker).

Lee revealed that appearing in Wicked would allow him to spend plenty of time with his new daughter with the days free until he has to work at the matinee or evening performances.  Although he does have a concert tour starting in Southend on Sunday 23rd May.

Other celebrity guests at the press night included Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page, EastEnders actress Samantha Janus and  Gareth Gates (who is appearing as Marius on the tour of Les Miserables)

Plenty of time with his/her daughter? /neither of them seem to. He's in Wicked every day or in concert. Why?

And she's always being seen at events for which she must spend a lot of time at the hairdressser, nail bar, beauty parlour, and then there's the botox, collagen, fillers etc to keep up....
