As well as Katherine Kingsley and Michael Arden playing the leads of Rose and Alex in Trevor Nunn’s revival of Aspects of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Dominic Tighe (pictured) has now been cast to play Hugo (one of Rose’s young lovers).
Tighe is a talented young singer and actor who sang at Her Majesty the Queen's private 80th birthday celebrations as well as performing for Prince Edward and Nelson Mandela.
He had been acting for two years with established directors including Alan Ayckbourn, Edward Hall and Kevin Spacey before he joined the classical vocal quartet Blake. They released their debut album "Blake" in November 2007 which won the Album of the Year Award at the Classical BRIT Awards in 2008. In 2009 Tighe announced that he was leaving the band to return to his acting career
