Sweet Charity celebrates with a new designer bag

Tamzin Outhwaite is currently playing the lead in Sweet Charity at the Haymarket Theatre. Every time she lands a new acting role she marks the occasion by buying a designer handbag. The last one she purchased was a pink Mulberry tote bag to celebrate the show’s run at the Menier Chocolate Factory prior to its West End Transfer.

Tamzin has received rave reviews as the all-singing, all-dancing star of Sweet Charity, but she built her foundations in musical theatre by spending eight years in the chorus of shows including Carousel, Oliver!, Grease and Summer Holiday . She was spotted by Sir Alan Ayckbourn who cast her in a revival of his play Absent Friends which was followed by a stint in EastEnders

Andrew Lloyd Webber raved about Tamzin’s star quality on his TV talent show Over the Rainbow after he saw her at the Menier Chocolate Factory and she was completely taken aback that he praised her so lavishly on air.

So her next problem is which bag to purchase for her run at the Haymarket Theatre  - with the success she’s enjoying there I think she should splurge on a ChloĆ©!
