Ben James-Ellis joining Dreamboats & Petticoats

As previously blogged (Show  Me the Way to Amarillo) Tony Christie is joining the cast of Bill Kenwright’s juke box  musical Dreamboats and Petticoats at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End on 5th July.

Another change in cast is hat Ben James-Ellis is taking over the role of Norman when Ben Freeman leaves the show. 

Ben was one of the finalists in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for a Joseph in Any Dream Will Do and since then has been in the tour of Dirty Dancing and originated the role of Link Larkin in the West End production of the musical Hairspray staying with the show from its opening  in October 2007 until July 2009.
