Clare Burt is appearing in Cabaret at the Delfont Room, Prince of Wales Theatre at 11:00pm on Saturday 17th July.
Clare made her New York cabaret debut at the Metropolitan Room earlier this year to great acclaim singing new Jobim and Herman, Aznavour and Weill arrangements by her Musical Director Nigel Lilley.
She first began her career in cabaret as a founder member of The Broadway Babies who were a group devoted to the work of the great American songwriters. They played several seasons at Madame Jo Jo's and went on to play the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park and the Donmar Warehouse.
Clare’s West End roles include Grizabella in Cats ( New London ), Rose Vibert in Aspects of Love (Prince of Wales ), Celeste in Sunday in the Park with George (National) , Fosca in Passion (Bridewell ) and two new musicals by Howard Goodall: The Hired Man (Astoria) and Girlfriends (Playhouse).
She has appeared at the Donmar Warehouse in two Stephen Sondheim musicals: Susan in Sam Mendes' production of Company and The Witch in Into The Woods as well as Carla in Nine
