It seems impossible to believe but Michael Jackson died almost a year ago. As a tribute to his to his life and work a memorial plaque is to be unveiled on the eve of the first anniversary of his death at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End where the show Thriller Live is currently playing.
The plaque will be unveiled on 24th June in the foyer of the theatre with a ceremony attended by Diversity dance group who were the winners of Britain's Got Talent 2009 and had been booked to appear at Jackson's London 02 Arena concerts.
The cast of Thriller Live will also attend the event and six of the young performers who have played Jackson in the production will sing Speechless - The Tribute. The song was originally recorded by Jackson and is being released this month in aid of War Child.
