Bells are Ringing at Union Southwark

Anna-Jane Casey and Gary Milner will star in the classic musical Bells are Ringing which has a score by Jule Styne and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green.

It is the story of Ella (played by Judy Holliday on Broadway and in the movie) who spends all day working as a telephonist for an answering service and the characters she meets there .  Three of the show's tunes: "Long Before I Knew You," "Just in Time," and "The Party's Over” became popular standards.

Anna Jane Casey’s numerous theatre credits include Children of Eden at the Prince Edward Theatre, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium, Grease at Dominion Theatre, Starlight Express at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, West Side Story, both at the Prince Edward Theatre and on the national tour,  Chicago as Velma Kelly, Sunday in the Park with George and Forbidden Broadway at the Menier Chocolate Factory .
