Night of 1000 Voices raises £100,000

The Night of 1000 Voices charity gala which was held at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this year on 2nd May  raised £100,000 for blood cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research on its 50th anniversary.

The gala is in its 10th year and was put together and directed by Hugh Wooldridge. It featured a number of musical theatre stars including Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Les Misérables, Oliver!), Philip Quast (Les Misérables, La Cage Aux Folles) and Adam Pascal (Rent).

Because of the success of this concert, Hugh Wooldridge is working with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to plan another event at the Royal Albert Hall for Sunday May 11th 2011.
