To celebrate the best of the West End a giant maze has been built in Trafalgar Square. It is free to the public from 11:00 to 8:00 pm today, 2nd August 2010 until Friday 6th August.
The maze celebrates the concept of getting lost in London’s West End. It contains a number of famous street and landmarks including Covent Garden and Soho Square, with special blue plaques providing information on famous residents who have lived there.
If you manage to get to the centre you will come across the entertainment which ranges from drag queens from Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Dirty Dancing dance classes, the inhabitants of Avenue Q, dragons from Chinatown and a Carnaby Street party.
The maze’s themed week continues with Cuisine (Tuesday), Fashion (Wednesday), Culture (Thursday) and Music (Friday).
