Alexander Hanson leaves A Little Night Music

Alexander Hanson plays his final performance tonight at the Walter Kerr Theatre as Fredrik Egerman in the revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music.

Alexander Hanson originated the role of Fredrik Egerman in the Menier Chocolate Factory’s production which was directed by Trevor Nunn and subsequently transferred to Broadway.

In New York his very distinguished leading ladies have included Catherine Zeta Jones and Angela Lansbury and Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch, but after tonight he is heading back across the pond to pursue more projects in the UK.
