Griff Rhys Jones to return as Fagin in Oliver!

As already reported, Russ Abbot is leaving the role of Fagin in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane when his contract ends on Saturday 4th December.

It now looks as though Griff Rhys Jones is set to return to the role of Fagin this Christmas and play the part until the show closes on 8th January 2011 to make way for Shrek the Musical which starts previews next May

Kerry Ellis will stay on as Nancy with Steven Hartley as Bill Sikes until the end of the run.
