As everyone already knows, Danielle Hope is playing Dorothy, Michael Crawford is the Wizard and Hannah Waddingham (although not officially announced) is the Wicked Witch of the West in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium next February.
But on Weekend Wogan, ALW said that the parts of the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion are also cast with just a Glinda left to find in the principals. He is playing the names very close to his chest at the moment as I haven’t heard any rumours that are strong enough to repeat as to who this trio are.
Rehearsals must be due to start next month, so I suspect RUG are planning to announce them all in one go, but I’ll let you know as soon as I hear anything worth passing on.

If they are announcing them in one go (and they are 'names') that's daft PR-wise. They'd get four cracks of the publicity whip instead of one.
I agree. But they announced Michael Crawford after the press had already done so. They haven't let on about Hannah Waddingham yet, but again everybody knows about it. Maybe RUG think Michael Crawford is enough to sell it on at the moment?
Maybe the three aren't names?
At any rate, if they don't get on with it they'll be beaten to it again by the press.
