At the matinee yesterday (Saturday 23rd October) the Phantom of the Opera celebrated the show's 10,000th performance.
Andrew Lloyd Webber went up on stage during the curtain call and said a few words thanking the audience for their support over the last 10,000 performances before introducing Michael Crawford who was the original Phantom.
Andrew and Michael were then presented with a cake to celebrate the landmark performance.
Crawford will next appear on the West Stage playing the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium next February.
