Soon afterwards Sam is killed, but remains on Earth as a ghost and discovers that Carl was behind a money laundering scheme at the bank and that the mugging was an attempt by Carl to acquire Sam's security codes.
Other casting to date is Caissie Levy playing Molly (originally played by Demi Moore in the film) and Sharon D Clarke playing medium Oda Mae Brown (as played by Whoopi Goldberg).
