Jonathan Ansell performing at Ruby Charity Gala tonight

As soon as he finishes his performance in Lark Rise to Candelford at Richmond Theatre tonight, Jonathan Ansell is making a dash into London to perform at the Ruby Ball  which is being held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel on Saturday 13th November.  Ruby Wax will be here to oversee the rafffle proceedings.

It is a charity gala in aid of the David Adams Leukaemia Fund which was set up in his memory after his life was prolonged by The Royal Marsden Hospital for two years after his initial diagnosis of leukaemia. During those two years David Adams raised many thousands of pounds for the hospital, and his efforts have since been continued by his family and friends. They are now raising funds for a new, state-of-the-art Haemato-Oncology Unit, due to be opened officially this year.
