Lee Mead, Kerry Ellis and Emma Barton in Lionel Bart tribute concert

Barbara Windsor and special guests including Kerry Ellis, Emma Barton, Lee Mead and Samantha Womack recently performed a concert at the Hackney Empire which featured songs from Lionel Bart's best loved shows including Oliver in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the late composer.

Kerry Ellis is currently appearing in Oliver as Nancy and Emma Barton recently appeared in Chicago.

Lee Mead is currently playing Fiyero in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre and  performed  "From Russia with Love" which was composed by Bart.

The show “A Handful of Songs-A tribute to Lionel Bart” will be broadcast on BBC Radio2 on Christmas Eve at 8:00pm in the Friday Night is Music Night slot.
