There is a new tour of Guys and Dolls next year which is being presented as a Salisbury Playhouse Co-production with Clwyd Theatr Cymru and the New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich
The musical Guys and Dolls is set in the 50’s hustle and bustle of New York when Sky Masterson hits town and bets small-time gambler Nathan Detroit that he can take any girl he wants to Havana. When Nathan names Sarah Brown – a beautiful leader of the Salvationists Save-a-Soul Mission – as the girl he must win the sparks begin to fly.
The tour of Guys and Dolls will feature a company of 22 actor-musicians performing some electric dance routines to songs including Luck Be a Lady, Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat, If I Were a Bell and Guys and Dolls.
The cast includes: Adam Baxter, Delroy Brown, Sophie Byrne, Georgina Field, Ben Fox, Christopher Fry, Anthony Hunt, Rosie Jenkins, Paul Kissaun, Nick Lashbrook, Claire McGarahan, Lorna-Marie Moore, Laura Pitt-Pulford, David Randall, Steve Simmonds, Michael Shaeffer, Gavin Spokes, Kraig Thornber, Susannah Van Den Berg, Johnson Willis and Charlie Tighe.
Current tour dates are: Clwyd Theatr Cymru 10th February-5th March: New Theatre Cardiff Tuesday 8th – 12th March: Swansea Grand Theatre 15th - 19th March: New Wolsey Ipswich 23rd March – 16thApril 2011 and Salisbury Playhouse 28th April – 21at May 2011.

The tour will be directed by Directed by Peter Rowe , Designed by Libby Watson, Choreography by Francesca Jaynes with Musical Direction by Greg Palmer.
