The stuntman Christopher Tierney who was badly injured in Broadway's Spiderman: Turn off the Dark musical is rejoining the cast next week. The show is currently closed and back in rehearsals for its revamped latest opening night on 11th June.
Tierney suffered several broken ribs, a fractured elbow, bruised lung, three fractured vertebrae and a cracked skull when he fell from a ledge during the show on 10th December. He had to undergo back surgery and spent Christmas in hospital, but amazingly after several months of treatment at a rehabilitation centre he is now fighting fit.
