Idina Menzel in Concert with Marvin Hamlisch

The fabulous Idina Menzel is performing a one off concert at the the Royal Albert Hall at 7:30 pm on Thursday 6th October.  She will be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by legendary composer Marvin Hamlisch.

Tony Award-winning Menzel originated the role of Elphaba in Wicked! and Maureen in Rent.

They’re Playing Our Song and A Chorus Line composer and musical director Marvin Hamlisch will conduct the 60-piece orchestra with Menzel performing musical theatre and  pop favourites  for the first time outside the United States.

She has been touring America singing songs from Wicked, plus a fabulous version of Tomorrow from Annie, but may change the song list around for London which is her only planned European performance so far.

Menzel returns to the Royal Albert Hall having played Florence Vassy in the 2008 concert version of Chess with Josh Groban.
