Gina Beck and Matt Willis to replace Louise Dearman & Mark Evans in Wicked!

Wicked! the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre is having some cast changes at the end of the year with Louise Dearman (Glinda), Mark Evans (Fiyero), Clive Carter (The Wizard), Julian Forsyth (Dr Dillamond), Zoe Rainey (Nessarose) and Ben Stott (Boq) all playing  their final performances on Saturday 10th December 2011.

It has just been announced that with effect from 12th December Gina Beck will be taking on the role of Glinda, ex-Busted member Matt Willis will play Fiyero, Lillie Flynn is Nessarose, Christopher Howell is Doctor Dillamond and Adam Pettigrew is Boq. Desmond Barrit returns to the role of The Wizard which he played in 2008.

Rachel Tucker will continue in her role as Elphaba into 2012. Julie Legrand (Madame Morrible), Nikki Davis-Jones (Standby Elphaba) and Chloe Taylor (Standby Glinda) are also all staying with the show.

Beck can currently be seen in The Belle’s Stratagem at Southwark Playhouse which runs until 1st October 2011.

Matt Willis was a member of the BRIT Award-winning band Busted and subsequently appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! He made his West End debut in Flashdance and recently appeared in the UK tour of Footloose.
