Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey to join judging panel on Strictly Come Dancing

Chief Judge Len Goodman is taking a break over the weekend of November 5th & 6th when Jennifer Grey is to appear as a guest judge on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Grey won the last series of US equivalent show Dancing with the Stars. She said: "I'm delighted to be involved and can't wait to see what the contestants have got. I so look forward to the pilgrimage to the birthplace of the greatest dance show - the mecca of spray tans and tangos - and sit in for the great and pernickety Len Goodman."

Grey starred as Baby Houseman opposite Patrick Swayze's Johnny Castle  in the film version of Dirty Dancing and it is hoped that she will perform with one of the male professionals on the programme.
