Rebecca Thornhill playing Nellie Forbush on South Pacific Tour

Samantha Womack is currently playing Nellie Forbush in the tour of South Pacific but is due to leave the show on 3rd March when the role will be taken over by West End leading lady  Rebecca Thornhill who will be Washing that Man Right Out of Her Hair at selected venues including Stoke, Manchester, Sunderland and Plymouth.

Rebecca Thornhill has an impressive list of musical theatre credits including Les Miserables, Show Boat, Chicago with David Hasselhoff, Ragtime, Mary Poppins, The Full Monty, Witches of Eastwick, Aspects of Love, Annie Get Your Gun,  Oklahoma! at the Royal National Theatre and Lyceum, Beauty and The Beast, Cats, Putting it Together, Sophisticated Ladies, Me and My Girl and She Loves Me.

She was nominated for an Olivier Award for her portrayal of Lina Lamont in the West Yorkshire Production of Singin’ in the Rain at the Royal National Theatre.
