The legendary Barbra Streisand is performing at this year's Oscar Ceremony on Sunday 24th February. The last time she performed was 36 years ago in 1977 when she sang Evergreen from A Star is Born which was that year's winner of the gong for best original song.
The late and great composer Marvin Hamlisch is expected to be remembered
at this year's ceremony so hopefully she will be part of that tribute
and sing one of his songs.
The ceremony's producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said: "In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music, how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand?"
Norah Jones will also perform the best original song nomination Everybody Needs a Best Friend from Ted and Adele will sing the Bond number Skyfall, which is up for the same prize.
