According to BroadwayWorld a new bio-musical based on the life and career of stage and screen star Richard Burton is heading for the West End in 2015.
The show will cover his Welsh upbringing, extremely successful stage and film careers and of course his volatile relationship with Elizabeth Taylor.
The new musical has a score by Daniel and Laura Curtis who co-wrote Ramin Karimloo's charity single "Why Am I Falling" as well as "A Miner's Song" (which included an audio recording of Richard Burton).
Daniel Curtis said: ''Richard Burton has always fascinated me and his relationship with Elizabeth Taylor has to be one of the most famous romances of all time. We want to take the audience on a journey from his humble beginnings in Pontrhydyfen to becoming one of the biggest stars in the world."
The cast and the full creative team will be announced soon. I don't think Burton will not be easy to cast as he was one of the most powerful and charismatic actors of his time.
