BBC Radio 2 is presenting Friday Night Is Fright Night on 1st November at 8:00 pm featuring scary musical moments. The Friday Night singers include
Geromino Rauch who is currently appearing as the Phantom in
Phantom of the Opera,West End leading man
David Bedella and soprano
Leila Benn Harris accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Robert Ziegler.
Radio 2's own "Dark Lord" Alex Lester is presenting the show which includes music from Alien (Jerry Goldsmith); Danse Macabre (Saint Saens); Jaws (John Williams); Bride of Frankenstein (Franz Waxman); Psycho (Bernard Herrmann) and Tubular Bells (Mike Oldfield) - used in the Exorcist and recently voted the most scary film of all time.
