Aladdin to open at Prince Edward next summer

Baz in today's Mail reports that the hit Broadway show of Disney's Aladdin, originally thought to be opening  at the London Palladium or the Dominion, has finally settled  on the West End's Prince Edward Theatre.

This is provided Cameron Mackintosh's new version of Miss Saigon (which is currently booking to the end of this year) moves to Broadway next summer. Mackintosh told the Mail that the shows sets will be transferring with it to save money.

Meanwhile, designer Bob Crowley is modifying Aladdin's  sets and flying magic carpet for its new home in London's West End.

More news to follow.
