Cassidy Janson to play Carole King in Beautiful from end November

Cassidy Janson,  will take over the title role in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical from Katie Brayben, starting on November 30th at the Aldwych Theatre.

She will play Carole King, with Diane Keen as her mother, Genie Klein (currently played by Glynis Barber).

Janson recently appeared as 'Ruth' in Dessa Rose  at the Trafalgar Studios, and in  the Menier Chocolate Factory's revival of Candide. Other theatre credits include  the original West End cast of Lend Me a Tenor  at the Gielgud Theatre, Stephen Sondheim's Company at  Southwark Playhouse,  'Kate Monster' and 'Lucy the Slut' in Avenue Q . She was Elphaba understudy in the original London cast of Wicked!
