Sierra Boggess leaving School of Rock on Broadway to Join Phantom in Paris

West End and Broadway star Sierra Boggess is currently playing the headmistress in Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock on Broadway. The Lord has just revealed that she will not be moving with the show to London at the end of this year but is leaving the Broadway production on 8th August and  returning to The Phantom of the Opera  to reprise her role  as Christine in the upcoming French production  in Paris which will open at the Mogador Theatre in October 2016, celebrating the musical's 30th anniversary. It will be the the first time the show has been performed in France and in French.

Boggess has played Christine in The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, in Las Vegas and on Broadway. She also originated the role in Love Never Dies in the West End.

Her Broadway credits also include It Shoulda Been You, The Little Mermaid and Master Class and she also played Fantine in the West End production of Les Miserables
