Stephen Ashfield has just announced on Twitter that he is taking over as Elder McKinley in the Broadway production of The Book of Mormon playing his first performance at New York's Eugene O'Neill Theatre on 23rd August. He takes over from Grey Henson who departs the show on 21st August.
Ashfield has been playing Moroni/Elder McKinley in the West End since 2013 and won an Olivier Award for his performance. He will play his
final show at London's Prince Of Wales Theatre on 6th August 2016.
London's new Elder McKinley is yet to be announced.
